Aylanto restaurant - Lahore

IMHO this is the best fine dining western restaurant in Lahore. Choices are varied and they even have carpaccio and escargot. And the food is not overpowering. The fettucine is very good, great texture. To their credit, I wanted it sauteed with just olive oil and sprinkled with some dried chilli on top and they knew what I wanted immediately, and did a pretty good job of it. Bottle friendly. They can also do the steak just char broiled without any sauces if you ask them. Great. Only thing that was not good was that they no longer have romaine lettuce for the ceaser's salad, just iceberg lettuce.

People in charge of Penang tourism you are idiots

Went off to Penang with the family while back home. Good food. Relaxed. Good beaches. Which makes me sad re the state of Penang tourism. It has far better beaches than Phuket, comparable food, and everything is wayyy cheaper than Phuket. But comparing visitor numbers, it's PATHETIC. Come on tourism guys, get your act together. Maybe time to behave like our famous Jasin MP, ie "close one eye" ? Really. Even locally, KK now beats you guys by miles.

O yes, went for fish spa. Overated. Would have been better if could jump in full body and totally naked.

And the fat guy won the Masters

I am sooo happy the fat guy won. And check it out. The 3 guys in the play off all had big guts. Yesss. Golf rules.

And Kenny Perry may be a dick for not playing in the Open, but at this year's Masters, he was a class act.
